These Terms explain the rules for using nubianlane.com, shopping with us, and using features such as the Find Your Lane AI Stylist.

1. About these Terms

This website is operated by Nubian Lane Hat Company. In these Terms, “Nubian Lane,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Nubian Lane Hat Company.

“Site” refers to nubianlane.com. “Services” means the Site, our online store, and any features, content, tools, or services we make available through it.

By visiting the Site, placing an order, creating an account, signing up for messages, or using any part of the Services, you agree to these Terms and the policies linked here.

If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

2. Who may use the Site

You must be old enough to enter into a legally binding agreement where you live.

If you allow a minor to use the Site, you are responsible for that use.

Our store is hosted by Shopify, which provides the ecommerce platform that allows us to offer products and process orders.

  • Prevent fraud

  • Provide analytics

  • Deliver marketing

Fit and sizing information is provided as guidance. Because head shapes, preferences, and product construction vary, we cannot guarantee that every style will fit every person in the same way.

5. Orders, billing, and payment

When you place an order, you agree to provide current, complete, and accurate:

An order confirmation does not guarantee that an order has been accepted or fulfilled.

We may decline, limit, hold, or cancel an order for reasons including:

If we cancel an order after payment has been processed, we will refund the amount charged for the canceled portion.

Free return shipping is available for most eligible U.S. returns and exchanges.

Some exclusions apply, including certain large-volume or unusually large orders.

9. Find Your Lane AI Stylist

The Find Your Lane AI Stylist is an optional styling experience designed to help you explore hat styles based on information, preferences, and images you choose to provide.

The Stylist operates through ChatGPT, a third-party service provided by OpenAI. A ChatGPT account may be required.

Your use of ChatGPT is also governed by OpenAI’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

Nubian Lane does not control OpenAI’s:

  • Service

  • Availability

  • Data practices

  • Account requirements

Only upload content that you own or have permission to use.

Avoid sharing sensitive personal information.

AI recommendations may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unavailable. They are provided for general styling guidance only.

AI recommendations do not guarantee:

  • Fit

  • Sizing

  • Appearance

  • Comfort

  • Inventory

  • Results

Always review the product page, measurements, materials, price, and availability before purchasing.

Purchases made on Nubian Lane remain subject to these Terms and our store policies.

10. Third-party tools and links

The Site may include tools, content, integrations, or links provided by third parties.

We do not control those third parties and are not responsible for their:

  • Availability

  • Accuracy

  • Security

  • Content

  • Terms

  • Privacy practices

  • Services

Your use of third-party services is at your discretion and may be governed by separate terms and policies.

A link does not mean that Nubian Lane endorses the third party.

11. Reviews, feedback, and content you submit

You are responsible for any review, image, comment, suggestion, or other content you submit to us.

You must have the right to submit it.

Submitted content must not be:

  • Infringing

  • Harmful

  • Contain malicious code

When you submit content to us for publication, you give Nubian Lane a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, edit, publish, display, and share that content for operating, promoting, and improving our business.

We are not required to publish, keep, pay for, or respond to submitted content.

Consent to marketing messages is not required to make a purchase.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

To stop marketing texts, reply STOP to a message from us. You may receive one final confirmation message.

We may change the phone number or short code used for the program.

Wireless carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.

You are responsible for providing a valid mobile number and notifying us if the number changes ownership.

15. Errors and service availability

  • Similar losses

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for a claim related to a product or order will not exceed the amount you paid for the product or order giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so some of this section may not apply to you.

You may stop using the Services at any time.

Provisions that by their nature should continue after termination—including payment obligations, intellectual-property rights, disclaimers, liability limits, and indemnification—will remain in effect.

20. Severability, waiver, and assignment

If part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.

You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our written permission.

We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, sale, reorganization, or transfer of our business.

21. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the laws of your location require otherwise.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights you may have under consumer-protection laws that cannot be waived.
